 20040718 Weekend Wedding
Back from Fort Wayne for the weekend -- Kevin and Amy's wedding was wonderful, and the closing line of my best man's toast earned unexpected laughs. Being back New York is unusual, still feels strange calling it home. But at least I can run down to the corner grocery right now and get a grilled cheese sandwich, and walk around a few blocks to stew over a bad taxi experience I had coming back from Laguardia. $44 cab fare when it should have cost $30. I knew he was screwing me with a circumnventing route -- but I didn't know the exact details of the correct route to challenge him. You live, you learn, you piss and moan. 0
