So -- I am back from Fort Wayne, Indiana, where I spent my Thanksgiving with Friends and Family alike. Here I sit now, in New York, alone in the Apartment as my roommates are still traveling back from Baltimore. I have taken the solitude as an opportunity to do some much needed Indiana-guerilla-decorating with nostalgic items I brought back from home. Now, you must understand, that my obsession with Indiana and its certain rise to an independent Republic is tactfully regarded as 'cute' by my roomies, but I surmise that they actually look down upon such as a waste of my time. To bolster their morale, I have hung an Indiana flag on our living room wall (which we were reserving for a large piece of Art), with a complimenting sign that majestically reads "Please Genuflect." They will certainly love this. 5

And Ricky was right -- I should have used tape, because now I will probably have to paint over the pinholes. 6:54 PM meg said... As much as I admire your temporary wall filler, I am anxious for you to commission me to make this large piece of art. Eh? Eh? You could be my benefactor. By the way, my dinner partner of last night about choked when I told him I know THE guys responsible for college humor. I'll never get used to that. 10:49 PM said... wow, all you guys do is make funny t-shirts and you live in a pad like this? those shirts must really be doing well! my friends and i want to know, is the More Cowbell shirt from the SNL skit? 11:44 AM Post a Comment |

![]() Hi, I'm Zach. I grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana and graduated from Wake Forest. After college, I moved to Manhattan to get serious about a company I ran with friends. We sold it to Barry Diller's InterActiveCorp in 2006. I just wrapped up with a project I co-founded called Vimeo and left CV to focus on being a twenty-five year old. I have another blog called Copy and Taste, where I post about learning to cook. I live in Brooklyn now.
