Supersonic Rock and Roll Star
Today I refound a nostalgic music gem -- Supersonic Rock and Roll Star by Onionhead, a Fort Wayne band. It was first released by a local alternrock radio station (96.3, The Edge) on a 'best of Fort Wayne' compilation. The track was part of an era of local music that included Abraham (now known at Jettingham) and Skavossas -- that sparked my love for live music. It is hard to believe this song is nearly 10 years old -- but you can download it now and still enjoy it today.

Man oh man. 96.3 The Edge -- something a bit different in a town full of country and classic rock stations. (Of course now, Fort Wayne has reverted back to its roots with 96.3 becoming a country station some time back.)

Still, there was a window in the late 1990's where the only thing I'd listen to was 96.3 The Edge. It was cool. Heck, 96.3 brought Foo Fighters to town too!

Hi, I'm Zach. I grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana and graduated from Wake Forest. After college, I moved to Manhattan to get serious about a company I ran with friends. We sold it to Barry Diller's InterActiveCorp in 2006. I just wrapped up with a project I co-founded called Vimeo and left CV to focus on being a twenty-five year old.

I have another blog called Copy and Taste, where I post about learning to cook.

I live in Brooklyn now.
