Relatively Large, Mysterious City
New York photographer Michael Cosentino was flying to Las Vegas from JFK when below him he saw a 'mystery snow covered city'. So mysterious, and so remarkably beautiful from high above, he photographed it. The resulting picture is amazing.

He pleads in the photo description:
I've be racking my brain trying to figure out which relatively large city this is. The photo was taken on 12/24, and I estimate we were somewhere between central Pennsylvania and the Mississippi River. It looks an awful lot like Pittsburgh but it doesn't quite match up. Is this your town? Please help!

Sir, it is indeed my town. My illustrious hometown of Fort Wayne, Indiana. And I cherish that photo.

I posted a comment on the photo page assuring Mr Cosentino that Fort Wayne being a "Mystery City" is probably the sexiest thing that has ever happened to it.

Thanks to Youngna for pointing out the picture to me.

Man, oh man. What a gorgeous photo.

On 12/23 we received something like 8 inches of snow over night. Somehow, snow doesn't look this nice from the ground (especially when you have to drive in it).

Hi, I'm Zach. I grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana and graduated from Wake Forest. After college, I moved to Manhattan to get serious about a company I ran with friends. We sold it to Barry Diller's InterActiveCorp in 2006. I just wrapped up with a project I co-founded called Vimeo and left CV to focus on being a twenty-five year old.

I have another blog called Copy and Taste, where I post about learning to cook.

I live in Brooklyn now.
