Snowboarding
It has been nearly three months since I left the city. But yesterday, finally, I snapped my city-seclusion streak and rented a car with my pal Paul and a gang of his friends to go snowboarding on Hunter Mountain. I had a great time; my entire body is sore with the good kind of aching that reminds you that you just had a complete workout. I lament that it was my first time out this season. Hopefully there are a few more weeks left of decent slope conditions to make further daytrips possible. Anyone else in?

I posted a two minute clip that Paul captured featuring a few of us riding down a pass. It is unedited, perhaps a bit boring, but interesting to some nonetheless.

Hi, I'm Zach. I grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana and graduated from Wake Forest. After college, I moved to Manhattan to get serious about a company I ran with friends. We sold it to Barry Diller's InterActiveCorp in 2006. I just wrapped up with a project I co-founded called Vimeo and left CV to focus on being a twenty-five year old.

I have another blog called Copy and Taste, where I post about learning to cook.

I live in Brooklyn now.
