Comparing the US healthcare sector to the Chinese GDP is like comparing apples with oranges. Comparing long-term GDP growth is a more relevant comparison. It stunned me that this sector alone could exceed China's entire GDP. My point is that China's GDP is huge, and will quickly grow to become the world's largest, yet at the moment the U.S. healthcare alone is still larger and its sheer size is rarely acknowledged or understood by the public. Aside, I disagree with your opinion that this is similar to comparing apples with oranges.
