Pix
I am pausing my DVR to report that during tonight's episode of The OC, a Verizon Wireless commerical mentioned a new word in mobile vocab: Pix.

Example, "You can text and pix any other Verizon subscriber for free."

I don't watch much TV (only The OC and Entourage), so I am not sure if this word has been mentioned for very long. Clue me in ..

One of my roommates had the TV on the other day as I was reading the paper and "pix" caught me off guard as well.

It was the first I had heard of it.

You guys still like the OC? I can't tell if I've changed or the show has, but it's totally lost whatever magic it had in Season one. You see glimmers of it in Seth still, but man, what happened to the writing on this show?

The OC has become unbearable. I am thinking about benching it, and adding Lost to the roster.

ANYWAY, OC Season One is an instant classic. I've watched the DVD set twice through.

PIX is just their brand name for their picture sharing utility and web manager that you can use to store and pictures and albums of pictures. They also have a product called FLIX for... you guessed it ; video!

Hi, I'm Zach. I grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana and graduated from Wake Forest. After college, I moved to Manhattan to get serious about a company I ran with friends. We sold it to Barry Diller's InterActiveCorp in 2006. I just wrapped up with a project I co-founded called Vimeo and left CV to focus on being a twenty-five year old.

I have another blog called Copy and Taste, where I post about learning to cook.

I live in Brooklyn now.
