Anyone else at the Thalia Theatre last night to see Sufjan Stevens play with a string ensemble would agree that we witnessed something great.

I seek a recording of the show. Give me a heads-up if you know anything.

Dear ZachblogKlein,

What a pleasant adventure, finding your blog through Amir's! Although I don't have a recording of last night's Sufjan Stevens show (what a gem *that* would be) I DO have a question for you--are you planning on going to see the Fiery Furnaces at the Town Hall next Friday? Tell me now, hurry!

Your Friend,
Pavla!

Hey Pavla -- unfortunately, not. My friend Nick (from Atlanta) is visiting that weekend and we have a bunch of controlled experiments planned for Friday night.

BUT! I am getting excited for the Explosions in the Sky show in December at Bowery. Do you want in?

Theres lots of fun stuff in November, too (the faint, the double, cat power, american analog set, etc etc etc) are you going to any?!

IF you ever do find a recording of the show, please post on it. I live in Miami, where I highly doubt there will ever be a Sufjan concert.

Hi, I'm Zach. I grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana and graduated from Wake Forest. After college, I moved to Manhattan to get serious about a company I ran with friends. We sold it to Barry Diller's InterActiveCorp in 2006. I just wrapped up with a project I co-founded called Vimeo and left CV to focus on being a twenty-five year old.

I have another blog called Copy and Taste, where I post about learning to cook.

I live in Brooklyn now.
