Hawthorne Gallary Opening
A few weeks ago I mentioned that The Hawthorne Gallery in Winston-Salem will be showing a few of my pictures. The opening is tomorrow, Dec 1st, and I just learned a few more details worth sharing. It starts at 5pm and lasts until 7:30pm. There will be new works on display by Ron Adams, Leo Morrissey, Alix Hitchcock, and coincidentally David Faber, one of my professors at Wake Forest and a printmaker I admire.

I can't be there for the opening, but it would be neat if you could.

PS. If you do go, please take a picture!

You liked Faber? I'm sorry but I had to work with him one summer. He freaked me out. No doubt he's a talented printmaker, but we always thought that it was funny he would show up to an opening with a new girlfriend. Good luck with the show. I have my own show next week.

Zach, is it possible for you to post the images currently showing at the gallery online for us to see . . . or provide the links to them on your flickr site if you already have them up? I can't make it to N.C., but it would be great to see your work that is on display.

Hi, I'm Zach. I grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana and graduated from Wake Forest. After college, I moved to Manhattan to get serious about a company I ran with friends. We sold it to Barry Diller's InterActiveCorp in 2006. I just wrapped up with a project I co-founded called Vimeo and left CV to focus on being a twenty-five year old.

I have another blog called Copy and Taste, where I post about learning to cook.

I live in Brooklyn now.
