Here's a headsup that my friend Jason Bitner, who co-created Found Magazine, is publishing a book called LaPorte, Indiana. He's not from Indiana, but once while passing through he stopped at a diner, and in the back he found boxes of studio portraits of local townspeople. 18,000 in all, taken by one man over 30 years. He sorted through them and pulled out his favorites to make this book. The pictures are fascinating.I think it comes out in March, but it is available for pre-sale on Amazon. In the meantime, you can see a few sample pages. 2
