I love the animation, but cannot help recalling the series of commercials that has the same effect. Do you know what it is called? 4:26 AM Krissi said... That type of animation is called rotoscoping...it's filmed digitally than animated over that. 9:25 AM said... It's cool for like 5 seconds, but it's really like a real film to which someone applied a photoshop filter to every frame. It seems like the type of film that could have some potential in terms of warning people about where our society is headed, but I think the cartoony-ness of it detracts from that value because it makes the premise appear less realistic. 5:31 PM James Carlos said... There's an article in the current Wired magazine about this technique. The trailer looks great...can't wait for this one! james 10:59 PM Post a Comment |

![]() Hi, I'm Zach. I grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana and graduated from Wake Forest. After college, I moved to Manhattan to get serious about a company I ran with friends. We sold it to Barry Diller's InterActiveCorp in 2006. I just wrapped up with a project I co-founded called Vimeo and left CV to focus on being a twenty-five year old. I have another blog called Copy and Taste, where I post about learning to cook. I live in Brooklyn now.
