Space Saturday

Great day today! We finished the loft and stairs -- and we thought it would take all weekend. Many thank yous to everyone who showed up to help, like our dads and Pete, Chris, Kunal, Darrel, Kristin, Vicky, Jessica, Noah and Carly.

Tomorrow we are going back to install new electrical sockets and light fixtures, spackle holes in the bathroom, and start building the climbing wall.

Things we need: Fridge, furniture and floor lamps!

Aside: The people in our immediate neighborhood are welcoming, and seem excited that we're joining the block. More than a handful of people swung by to say hello and introduce themselves.

You mean, the loft is crappy looking? If so, maybe it will look better to you after we stain it.

I think those stairs are Bee-yoo-ti-ful. Glad to see you were able to finish them without me:) It was fun working on the project with you guys. Glad I got the word from my good friend Rett.

Hi, I'm Zach. I grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana and graduated from Wake Forest. After college, I moved to Manhattan to get serious about a company I ran with friends. We sold it to Barry Diller's InterActiveCorp in 2006. I just wrapped up with a project I co-founded called Vimeo and left CV to focus on being a twenty-five year old.

I have another blog called Copy and Taste, where I post about learning to cook.

I live in Brooklyn now.
