 20060414 Sufjan Stevens announces The Avalanche
 Sufjan Stevens will officially release most of the unused material from the Illinois album. The disc named after the title track, The Avalanche, will be released July 11th and feature 21 songs, instrumentals, interludes and demos, including three alternate versions of Chicago. 5
