![]() 20070215 Uniqlo is the Japanese version of H&M
Uniqlo's site is incredible. If you're unaware, Uniqlo is the Japanese H&M. A few months ago, they opened a flagship store in SoHo, their first in North America. Via Jakob via Waxy. Update: I agree with comments: The site is not usable for shopping. I only noted it for it's mosaic effects, which I've never seen before. 13

I think the store is cool and their website has a unique and fun aesthetic but the site takes some getting used to. Do you know if it is all flash based? 11:02 AM Keith said... Pretty amazing mosaic effect. It's definitely all flash based. I'm surprised how fast the mosaics are generated. 11:52 AM Mari said... The UNIQLO site does some amazing things and is fun to play around on, but I always thought it was hard as hell to navigate when I was actually trying to find something. 12:49 PM martin said... Cool website, but i think it lack usability heavily, which is very different to how their actual stores are layed up in Tokyo which is extremly easily navigated. No matter how you look at it, in the end simple sells, which is why Jcrew sells the most clothing worldwide online (Atleast they used to) 1:26 PM Dobbsie said... we have about 7 Uniqlo stores in England, The one near me closed down i was so bummed becuase it's such a great cloths shop. Plus they are well cheap 4:09 PM dalas v. said... Anyone know what their labor ethics are like? I'm heading to Google. 7:48 PM dalas v. said...
