Aaron Sittig said... This reminds me of Edward Burtynsky's photography. In particular his photos of tire yards and stone quarries. This photo here should draw the parallel clearly: http://www.edwardburtynsky.com/WORKS/Urban_Mines/Tires/Tires_09.html Be sure to also check out Burtynsky's photos of China. They're probably the most eye-opening stuff he's done, especially since it's so foreign to any experience we have in the US. I'd really like to see Jordan's photos in person if this photo (http://www.chrisjordan.com/image_detail.php?id=15) is really 44x90", there's a lot of detail in there that you can only see in person. Anyhow, thanks for the good photo link. 8:06 PM Post a Comment |

![]() Hi, I'm Zach. I grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana and graduated from Wake Forest. After college, I moved to Manhattan to get serious about a company I ran with friends. We sold it to Barry Diller's InterActiveCorp in 2006. I just wrapped up with a project I co-founded called Vimeo and left CV to focus on being a twenty-five year old. I have another blog called Copy and Taste, where I post about learning to cook. I live in Brooklyn now.
