From Sean Nelson, Harvey Danger frontman:
that "flagpole sitta" video made me incredibly happy, just when i thought there was NOTHING that could make me listen to that song again. a thousand thank yous. and make sure the girl in the front row at the end know that i spotted the billy joel storm front concert t-shirt and that she is cold busted. 4

said... Zach, My cousin-in-law plays bass for Harvey Danger and I sent him the video directly, but apparently they had already found it! The last time I saw HD, when I still lived in WI, they (reluctantly) played "Flagpole Sitta" as an encore, and what seemed like the entire crowd got on stage and sang it with them, so the vimeo clip brought back some very fond memories, indeed. Their most recent record, if you haven't heard it, is fabulous also! Anyhow, great clip, congrats on the kind words from Sean (a true gentleman), and take care! Jim 10:51 PM Joel said... That is so cool!! 3:44 AM Cameron said... It kind of scares me how bands get sick of their own songs. The video was really good by the way! 8:42 PM said... I just love the fact that the band members clearly google-blog search themselves. Proclaim self-involvement! 12:40 AM Post a Comment |
