Watch the 4-hour American Experience/Frontline special on Mormons. I skipped This American Life archives, and instead listened to the audio of this program while I worked yesterday.

Their history is incredible.

I'm almost done with The Mormons (save until manually erased!) and I agree, it's amazing and incredibly balanced. Also, there should be a death metal mormon band called "Mountain Meadows."

If you like that and have the time read "Under the Banner of Heaven" by Jon Krakauer. It will make you fear yet another group of fundamentalists.

If you're a fan of This American Life archives you might enjoy listening to
The Sound of Young America. It's kind of like Fresh Air with Terry Gross but hosted by a twenty five yr old guy.

Hi, I'm Zach. I grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana and graduated from Wake Forest. After college, I moved to Manhattan to get serious about a company I ran with friends. We sold it to Barry Diller's InterActiveCorp in 2006. I just wrapped up with a project I co-founded called Vimeo and left CV to focus on being a twenty-five year old.

I have another blog called Copy and Taste, where I post about learning to cook.

I live in Brooklyn now.
