Culture Shock
And this town's officials wonder why there's a brain drain, a depletion of their creative class ...

Fort Wayne republican mayoral candidate Matt Kelty is running this homophobic radio ad against his democrat opponent Tom Henry who supports gay rights.

Duh.

wow, one could have made judgement about his intelligence when he tried to lie to a grand jury about campaign funds, but this leaves no room for interpretation does it? thanks for posting the MP3.

I've addressed this very issue in my blog as well as other local blogs. If, as Kelty proclaims, he is "the future" of this city, I am not too sure I want any party of him, that kind of future or the city. :(

Matt Kelty is probably in a bathroom stall in an airport somewhere cruising for anonymous gay sex. These homophobic anti gay politicos should come out of the closet and then kill themselves.

that's disgusting! Definitely sending that around to my fort wayne friends & family - not that they aren't already planning on voting for Henry (a man probably not all that against family values considering he's one of ten or eleven siblings that grew up in a Catholic household...). What is it about Fort Wayne and backward thinking?

This is really depressing that the human race is still ignorant. I hope this radio ad backfires on Matt Kelty.

Hi, I'm Zach. I grew up in Fort Wayne, Indiana and graduated from Wake Forest. After college, I moved to Manhattan to get serious about a company I ran with friends. We sold it to Barry Diller's InterActiveCorp in 2006. I just wrapped up with a project I co-founded called Vimeo and left CV to focus on being a twenty-five year old.

I have another blog called Copy and Taste, where I post about learning to cook.

I live in Brooklyn now.
