LET HIM SING! Petition
So, some major tension has erupted here in my office -- basically, I have been demanded by Ricky Van Veen, my dear friend (or so I thought) and business partner, not to sing during work hours because it is "annoying". While I understand that I may not always be on key, or necessarily know all the words to the songs I sing, I feel that it is important for every man to chirp away as he pleases. What is a man without song? NOTHING!

Now, I am asking for your support, my TRUE friends. Please sign this Petition, encouraging Ricky to change his mind ... because afterall, everyone could use a little more of Britney Spear's Toxic in the morning.

Furniture
Desperately looking for contemporary/modern/mimalist furniture retailers online. I have already scoured Manhattan, and Manhattan has scoured my wallet.

So, right now I am working between Tema, West Elm, and of course Ikea. And, of course I dreaming about DWR ... Any suggestions?

Hey Pittsburgh, I spit in your general direction!
I am incensed, and halfway through my letter of reply!
Pittsburgh City Paper:
Obviously, we Pittsburghers can make fun of Fort Wayne to compensate for our own feelings of inferiority. Allow me to demonstrate. I mean a Web site operated by the city's visitors and convention center boasts -- actually boasts -- that Fort Wayne is the birthplace of baking soda! Not to mention "the home of the Daisies, the first professional women's baseball team"! They don't even have an NFL franchise, the poor saps!

U.S. raises threat level at key financial sites
I was sobered during a morning walk today, to see three different bomb-search checkpoints, unaware of the 'terror threat', and then coming home to see this on the frontpage of CNN. For the first time, this is all in my backyard.
